About David Reaboi
For more than two decades, David Reaboi’s work has followed a single question: how hostile powers can shape what Americans believe through weaponized information—and how to fight back.
Today, he builds knowledge systems that combine human expertise, deep research, and artificial intelligence to combat hostile information campaigns at the scale and tempo at which they are waged. This work is the culmination of his experience, drawing on his years as an analyst and practitioner of information and political warfare; a writer’s command of argument and explanation; and the creative rigor of his own AI methodology.
In 2026, David designed and built EDUT, a research and intelligence system that combines historical scholarship, expert analysis, and artificial intelligence to combat the development, spread, and influence of antisemitic conspiracy theories. It brings that work to bear on unfolding events—supporting books, investigations, and briefings for journalists, policymakers, and others.
David has spent his career where media, policy, and influence meet. He has directed communications campaigns, led teams of writers and researchers in war rooms, and advised governments, organizations, and public figures on political strategy and messaging. In his writing, speaking, and interviews around the world, he has exposed how narratives are turned into weapons by the far left, the far right, Islamist movements, and the Russian state and its proxies. His essays and books have documented the influence operations of hostile states and the conspiracy narratives they exploit, and his work has shaped how policymakers, journalists, and conservative audiences understand them.
He is the author of Qatar’s Shadow War: The Islamist Emirate and Its Information Operations in the United States (2021) and The Epstein Conspiracy: How Russia Turned a Lie About Jeffrey Epstein Into a Weapon Against America, Israel, and Jews (2026). His forthcoming book, Viral Libels: Antisemitic Conspiracy Theories as Information Warfare (2027), examines how antisemitism supplies an all-encompassing explanation for political life, attributing otherwise unrelated events to hidden Jewish control.
David is the president of Strategic Improvisation, the firm he founded in 2019, where his work has included political analysis, strategic communications, research, and publishing for individuals, organizations, and governments. He was previously Senior Vice President for Strategic Operations and War Room Director at Security Studies Group; Vice President for Strategic Communications at the Center for Security Policy, where he founded its publishing imprint and published twenty books; and Communications Director for Right on Crime at the Texas Public Policy Foundation in Austin.
In 2011, he helped create Big Peace, Andrew Breitbart’s national security site, as its senior editor. He has ghostwritten or contributed to several books about Sunni Islamist movements. His writing has appeared at Tablet, inFOCUS Quarterly, the Claremont Review of Books, American Greatness, The Washington Times, the Jewish Journal, Human Events, The American Mind, RedState, and elsewhere. David received a BA from George Washington University in International Affairs, with a concentration in the history of the Cold War.
David’s background in culture is as long as his career in politics. He designs book covers, interiors, and complete editions for authors and publishers, along with logos, advertising images, and other visual work. He worked for a decade as a double-bassist in New York and San Francisco, playing jazz, improvised music, and music for modern dance with many of the legendary figures in the jazz avant-garde. His writing on jazz, film, criticism, and the life of cities has appeared at Late Republic Nonsense. As an avid amateur competitive bodybuilder, he can also be found daily at the gym and eating meals out of Tupperware.
He lives in Miami Beach with his beloved Doberdoodle, Miles.
