About the book
Short
The lie that Jeffrey Epstein ran a sexual-blackmail operation for Israeli intelligence has convinced millions of Americans that their leaders are compromised and their wars are fought on Israel’s orders. In The Epstein Conspiracy, David Reaboi, a longtime writer on political warfare and information operations, shows that Russia very likely manufactured, laundered, and activated it as information warfare. Its real target is America’s capacity to reason about its own national interests.

The Jewish Question has returned to the center of American political life. Claims of hidden Jewish control that once lived on the white-nationalist fringe now run through mainstream broadcasts on the Right and the Left, where commentators describe America as an “occupied nation.” Their entry point was a single lie: that Jeffrey Epstein ran a sexual-blackmail operation for Israeli intelligence. It has convinced millions of Americans that their leaders are compromised and their wars are fought on Israel’s orders.
In The Epstein Conspiracy, David Reaboi, a longtime writer on political warfare and information operations, shows that Russia very likely manufactured, laundered, and activated that lie as information warfare. Its real target is America’s capacity to reason about its own national interests. A country consumed by the question of who secretly runs it cannot govern itself toward any coherent end.
The claim rests on the uncorroborated word of a single discredited source. Years of investigation, litigation, prosecution, and millions of pages of released documents have produced no evidence for it, and as intelligence tradecraft it makes no sense. Reaboi reconstructs the campaign in four phases: seeding, supply, laundering, and activation. He traces how the claim traveled anyway, from that source through progressively more credible outlets and Russian state media to America’s largest podcasts. There it reached an audience whose distrust of its own institutions made it ready to believe. He then tests the case against the criteria once used to attribute Soviet disinformation: operational signature, strategic interest, and institutional architecture.
The book also contains the first English translation of excerpts from Aleksandr Dugin’s Konspirologiya, annotated by Reaboi. They reveal the doctrine behind the operation: antisemitic conspiracy theories as weapons against an open society, designed to break down a nation’s standards of evidence and reason. As a result of this campaign, the central argument of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion has reached millions of Americans for the first time at scale.
Reaboi argues that the United States must move beyond content moderation, treat such operations as foreign attacks, and identify and disrupt the intelligence services and operators behind them, using the methods it developed against transnational terrorist networks. Because Israel is the operation’s second target, he argues, the two countries should answer it together.
Praise
Nobody researches like Dave Reaboi—and his research has now uncovered a stunning chain of events that led to one of the most viral conspiracy theories of all time.
Reaboi meticulously establishes how specious claims by sketchy Americans, adopted by Putin’s state media, appealed to the many Americans contemptuous of their own country and, in the process, eroded “America’s capacity to reason about its own national interests.” Read this short book and weep.
David Reaboi goes deep into the political uses of a mystery man whose story has dominated our politics for quite a while now, in life and in death. If you’re interested in the Epstein question, and you think you know the answers, think again. This book will help.
In The Epstein Conspiracy, David Reaboi traces the international path of an explosive anti-Semitic lie at every stage from conception to mass-consumption. With his account of a foreign info-op and the damage it’s wrought, Reaboi provides us with the first usable map of the present-day propaganda wilderness. It’s as gripping as a spy thriller, but it’s also a spine-stiffening call to American action. Reaboi exposes how and why our enemies seized on the Epstein-spy lie and, more important, explains precisely what we need to do about it.
For centuries, conspiracy theories have been a cheap and easy psychological warfare method to confuse, anger, and divide target audiences. They are effective because they can never be disproven. David Reaboi shows how some of the most effective ones play on latent suspicions, open fears, and secrecy. He also provides, for the first time, an English translation of Russian theorist Alexander Dugin’s decades-old templates for conspiracy theories and how to wage them to undermine the United States.
David Reaboi does the unglamorous work that conspiracy books usually skip: he traces where a claim comes from, who repeated it, and how it traveled. His autopsy of the ‘Epstein was a Mossad asset’ story is a masterclass in source criticism, showing how one discredited source can launder itself into received wisdom. This is a valuable anatomy of how modern conspiracies are built.
Dave Reaboi is a clear thinker who actually “knows what time it is.” In an age when too many voices get pulled into conspiracies and rabbit holes, Dave has repeatedly proven himself impervious to them.
This book is a vital resource for those looking to inoculate themselves from Russian propaganda often peddled by popular “right-wing” influencers.

For more than two decades, David Reaboi’s work has followed a single question: how hostile powers can shape what Americans believe through weaponized information—and how to fight back.
Today, he builds knowledge systems that combine human expertise, deep research, and artificial intelligence to combat hostile information campaigns at the scale and tempo at which they are waged. This work is the culmination of his career as an analyst and practitioner of information and political warfare; a writer’s command of argument and explanation; and the creative rigor of his own AI methodology.
He is the founder of EDUT, which counters antisemitic conspiracy narratives and the information operations that spread them. He is the author of Qatar’s Shadow War (2021) and The Epstein Conspiracy (2026), and his next book, Viral Libels: Antisemitic Conspiracy Theories as Information Warfare, is forthcoming in 2027.
David is president of Strategic Improvisation, the firm he founded in 2019. He previously served as Vice President for Strategic Communications at the Center for Security Policy, Senior Vice President for Strategic Operations at Security Studies Group, and Communications Director for Right on Crime at the Texas Public Policy Foundation. His writing has appeared in Tablet, inFOCUS Quarterly, the Claremont Review of Books, The Washington Times, and elsewhere, and he has spoken around the world on media, policy, and influence. He lives in Miami Beach.
What the book shows
- The claim that Jeffrey Epstein worked for Mossad rests on the uncorroborated word of a single discredited source. Years of investigation and millions of released pages have produced no evidence for it.
- The evidence behind the claim did not grow between September 2019 and March 2025. What grew was the number of people who believed it, from thousands to tens of millions.
- Russia very likely manufactured, laundered, and activated the claim, while Russian state media ran a parallel track that fed the American amplification network.
- The criteria the U.S. government once used to attribute Soviet disinformation (operational signature, strategic interest, and institutional architecture) point to the Russian state.
- The campaign has carried the central argument of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion to millions of Americans for the first time at scale.
- A claim does damage even when it isn’t believed: officials must defend their independence before policy can be debated.
Central findings and arguments
The book develops several central findings and arguments:
- The allegation’s foundation: The Epstein/Mossad story rests on the unsupported claims of Ari Ben-Menashe. His earlier allegations about Robert Maxwell supplied the supposed corroboration for his later claims about Epstein—one source presented as multiple strands of evidence.
- The operation’s architecture: The book reconstructs how the claim was seeded, supplied with an intelligence backstory, laundered through progressively more prominent outlets, and activated through America’s largest podcasts, with Russian state media operating alongside this process.
- Attribution to Russia: The case rests on the convergence of source relationships, established information-laundering infrastructure, amplification patterns, timing, and strategic purpose. The book explains how an operation can be attributed through public evidence without assuming that every participant is a paid or knowing agent.
- Dugin and his faction: The book examines the ideological and strategic role of Aleksandr Dugin and his faction, whose conception of political warfare uses conspiracy belief to reshape how adversaries understand reality. Translated and annotated selections from his Konspirologiya illuminate the doctrine behind the use of antisemitic conspiracy as a weapon against open societies.
- The strategic objective: The operation makes the American alliance with Israel politically toxic while encouraging Americans to understand their own institutions as instruments of hidden Jewish power. Its larger payoff is an America increasingly unable to reason about its national interests.
- Imposing costs: Exposing the falsehood is insufficient. The book argues for targeting the foreign bureaucracies, officers, contractors, financial channels, and technical infrastructure responsible for these campaigns—making information warfare costly for those who conduct it.
