Selected Work
Period lettering and engraved portraits sit alongside documentary collage and abstract compositions in these covers, with the treatment determined by the book. The references extend from early commercial printing to mid-century modernism; their influence appears in the proportions of the lettering, the use of geometry, and the relationship between a few carefully chosen colors. Across very different subjects, the emphasis remains on a clear composition that gives the cover its own character.

Claremont Provocations Series
The Provocations covers take political ideas into abstraction, drawing on documents and technical diagrams as well as civic imagery. Those fragments become material for new compositions, with geometry and color carrying the relationship to the subject. Each image also has to hold together on its own, giving the series artwork a life beyond the cover.
Logos
The logos shown here use a range of approaches depending on the character of the project: geometric marks, monograms, engraved or heraldic forms, mid-century corporate structures, and simple typographic treatments. Some rely on abstract shape construction; others draw from older visual traditions such as heraldry, engraving, or classic sign-painting. The logos vary in tone — from contemporary geometric systems to historical or illustrative styles — but all are handled with the same emphasis on clear forms and controlled structure.
