Covers & Interiors
A cover gives the book its identity; the interior gives that identity a place to unfold. Both services are available as independent commissions.
Cover Design
From $2,500
A distinctive cover gives a book a presence of its own. Imagery and lettering capture its character, inviting a closer look and setting the tone before the first page is opened. The design extends across the spine and back cover, and into promotional images that make the book recognizable wherever it appears.
- Three original concepts. Consultation on the subject and intended readership informs three front-cover directions.
- Two revision rounds. The selected direction is refined before completion of the spine and back cover for one paperback or hardcover edition.
- Promotional images included. One design based on the approved cover is adapted for Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Delivery. Print-ready cover PDF, separate front- and back-cover PNGs, and the promotional images.
Interior Design & Layout
From $2,500
The interior is where a reader spends time with a book. Thoughtful typography makes sustained reading a pleasure, while chapter openings, quotations, photographs, and notes each find their place in the design. The result is a complete paperback or hardcover interior whose pages feel considered from beginning to end.
- Consultation and sample pages. Recommendations on format, margins, type size, spacing, and images inform two interior design alternatives, shown through representative pages.
- Two revision rounds. The selected design is refined before full-book layout, including front and back matter, standard quotations, and notes.
- Image preparation included. Basic cropping, tonal adjustments, and print sizing are included for up to five supplied images.
- Delivery. A KDP-ready interior PDF for one paperback or hardcover edition. Heavily illustrated books, complex tables, and unusually demanding notes receive individual quotations.
Starting prices apply to conventional, text-led main manuscripts of up to 75,000 words. Each proposal defines the final scope.
